Over 600 teenagers from the Diocese of Arlington participated in the 35th Annual WorkCamp program, where they dedicated a week to community service in rural Virginia. Kevin Bohli, director of Work Camp, says the high schoolers worked on over 190 projects, including replacing roofs, building wheelchair ramps, and improving homes. 7News reports the estimated value of their work is over $1.5 million dollars. Many participants say they found the experience life-changing, growing their faith, meeting new people, and finding joy in helping others.
