The governor posted on social media yesterday afternoon, telling Virginians to prepare for powerful wind and rain and to exercise caution when it arrives. He also thanked Virginia first responders who have traveled south to assist states affected by the storm. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of Virginia, predicting heavy rain and some local flooding through the end of the week.
