A town in Grayson County called Fries [[freeze]] has been severely impacted by flooding and power outages caused by Hurricane Helene. On Sunday, Governor Glenn Youngkin, dressed down in his blue jeans, visited the town and others in the area to assess the damages and provide support and encouragement to residents. People in Fries [[freeze]] are still without power and dealing with significant flooding, but efforts are underway to restore essential services. WDBJ reports Youngkin praised the resilience of Virginians and first responders who have been working tirelessly to help those affected by the disaster.
