The former owners of the zoo were part of a hearing in Rockbridge County yesterday. County officials want four giraffes currently housed at the zoo moved, but the zoo says at least two of them are pregnant and should remain where they are. The judge overseeing the case told the county to send a vet to the zoo to confirm the pregnancies in the next 30 days. Another hearing in the case has been set for October 2nd.
