Gretchen Mogensen is now a co-owner of the zoo along with her brothers. They are the children of the former owners Karl and Debbie Mogensen. It comes as the state justified last year's seizure of more than 70 animals at the zoo due to alleged animal abuse. Gretchen Morgensen, who is the zoo's former manager, spoke briefly on that during a press conference.Preview: On the zoo's social media, it says the new ownership will operate with a "different approach," promoting "dramatic changes" and "a more innovative and interactive experience."
