The Washington Wizards are adding to their frontcourt. According to ESPN, the team signed forward Saddiq Bey [[ suh-DEEK Bay ]] to a three-year, 20-million dollar deal. The 25-year-old averaged 13.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in 63 games with the Atlanta Hawks last season. He tore his ACL in March.
There is a major roster change happening for the Team USA men's basketball team prior to the start of the Olympics later this month. LA Clippers star forward Kawhi Leonard will not play in the Paris Olympics and will have his spot filled by NBA champion sharpshooter Derrick White of the Boston Celtics. Leonard was set to make his first trip to the Olympics. White played on Team USA at the 2019 World Cup.
