The Grizzlies and Wizards are making a trade. Memphis has traded veteran guard Marcus Smart and a 2025 protected first-round pick to Washington in a three-team deal that ships guard Johnny Davis, forward Marvin Bagley the Third and 2025 second-round pick to the Grizzlies. The Kings sent guard Colby Jones and center Alex Len, a former University of Maryland star, to Washington.
The Wizards and 76ers made a trade ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Washington traded guard Jared Butler, a 2027 second-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and two 2030 second-round picks to Philadelphia for guard Reggie Jackson and a 2026 first round-pick.
The Wizards go for their fourth straight victory tonight. Washington hosts the Cleveland Cavaliers at Capital One Arena. The Wizards are last in the Eastern Conference at 9-and-41.
