An impending NFL free agent is dealing with a legal issue. ESPN reported on Monday that Ravens guard Ben Cleveland was cited for driving under the influence last week in Georgia. Milledgeville police say Cleveland was stopped late Wednesday night and told officers he drank "three-or-four beers" at a country club. Authorities say Cleveland had a point-one-seven-eight blood alcohol content, which is twice the legal limit. He was placed under arrest and released the next morning on bond.
The Orioles are willing to do whatever it takes to win. Team owner David Rubenstein attended O's Spring Training on Monday and said that he does not have a financial limit when asked how much he is willing to spend. Rubenstein confirmed the organization is not facing any debt problems and wants to put the best team on the field. Baltimore opens Grapefruit League play when it hosts the Pittsburgh Pirates Saturday afternoon in Sarasota.
