VCU takes on BYU this afternoon in Denver. Maryland battles Grand Canyon tomorrow afternoon in Seattle. Norfolk State meets Florida tomorrow night in Raleigh. Liberty plays Oregon tomorrow night in Seattle. In the NIT, George Mason blew out Samford 86-69 in the first round.
The Wizards were blown out by the Utah Jazz 128-112 at Delta Center. It was a battle of the NBA's two worst teams and Washington now holds the worst record in the league at 15-and-53. They will host the Orlando Magic tomorrow night.
