The Terps will take on Florida in the Sweet 16 Thursday in San Francisco. George Mason men's basketball was eliminated from the NIT after falling to Bradley 75-67 in the second round.
The University of Richmond women's basketball team's historic season is over. Number-one UCLA beat the 8-seed Spiders, 84-67, last night in LA in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. This was the farthest the Spiders had ever advanced in the tournament.
The Washington Capitals will be back on the ice tomorrow night, visiting the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre. All eyes will be on Alex Ovechkin. The Caps superstar is sitting on 888 career goals, just seven away from breaking Wayne Gretzky's all-time NHL record.
