The Nationals were no-hit by San Diego Padres losing 3-0 at Nationals Park. Nationals starter Patrick Corbin took the loss with seven innings of three-run ball and seven strikeouts. The Nats were swept with the loss. They are 3-and-3 since the break and 47-and-56 overall. The Nationals face the Cardinals in St. Louis tonight.
The Orioles blew a six-run lead but beat the Miami Marlins 7-6 in 10 innings to avoid being swept. Ryan Mountcastle hit a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 10th as part of a 3-for-5 day. Colton Cowser, Anthony Santander and Connor Norby all homered for the O's in the win. The Birds snapped a three-game losing streak. Reliever Yennier Cano [[ yen-NEER ]] got the win while Cionel Perez got his second save of the season. The Birds host the Padres tonight.
