Both NFL teams from the DMV play their second preseason games tomorrow. The Washington Commanders play the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. The Baltimore Ravens host the Atlanta Falcons at M&T Bank Stadium. Both teams lost their first preseason games last week. The Ravens fell to the Eagles 16-13 while the Commanders lost 20-17 to the Jets.
The schedule is out for the 2024-25 NBA season. The Washington Wizards open their season at home on October 24th against the defending champion Boston Celtics.
The Washington Mystics returned to action yesterday following the Olympic break. They were outscored in the fourth quarter to lose 79-68 to the Minnesota Lynx. Washington has lost three straight games and is 6-and-20 on the season. The team hosts the Lynx tomorrow.
