The Ravens have announced that offensive line coach Joe D'Alessandris has died. He was 70-years-old. D'Alessandris had been in the hospital the last two weeks with an illness that was going to require treatment for a lengthy period of time. He had been in the position with the Ravens since 2017.
The Commanders and Ravens played their final preseason games over the weekend. The Commanders beat the New England Patriots 20-10 yesterday. Trace McSorley tossed for 125 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 40 yards. The Ravens were crushed 30-7 by the Packers last Saturday. Tylan Wallace had a 48-yard touchdown reception in the loss. Both teams have to cut their active rosters to 53 men by tomorrow at 4 p.m. Eastern.
