Ace Corbin Burnes took the loss despite six innings of three-run ball and five strikeouts. The Birds have lost three of their last four games. They look to avoid the sweep tonight in Baltimore.
Patrick Corbin had another rough start as the Nationals were defeated 6-2 by the New York Mets at Citi Field. Corbin was charged with four earned runs in five-plus innings. He is now 1-and-9 with a 5.57 ERA on the season. Juan Yepez plated a run in the loss. The Nats have lost four straight games. They will try to avoid the sweep today in Queens.
