Washington Nationals spring training is underway. The Nats' pitchers and catchers participated in their first workout yesterday. The team's first full squad workout is Tuesday but some position players, such as All-Star shortstop CJ Abrams, have already reported to camp.
Baltimore Orioles spring training begins today with the team's pitchers and catchers participating in their first workout. Veteran starter Charlie Morton, NPB legend Tomoyuki Sugano and righty reliever Andrew Kittredge were notable offseason additions to the Birds' pitching staff. Veteran catcher Gary Sanchez also joined Baltimore in the offseason. The O's first full squad workout is Tuesday.
The Washington Capitals are enjoying some time off. The NHL's season has been paused due to the 4 Nations Face-Off, a round-robin tournament between the United States, Canada, Sweden and Finland.
