Keibert Ruiz and Paul DeJong had big games as the Washington Nationals smacked the St. Louis Cardinals 12-1 in exhibition play. Ruiz was 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs. DeJong was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Starter Michael Soroka improved to 1-and-0 with four innings of one-run ball and six strikeouts. The Nats are 7-and-5 in Spring Training. They host the New York Mets tonight
D.C. United returns to the pitch tomorrow. The Black-and-Red host Sporting Kansas City at Audi Field. D.C. is 0-2-and-0 so far this season.
