A man who has called Washington Nationals games on TV for nearly 20 years is calling it quits. Bob Carpenter announced yesterday that he retire at the end of this season. Carpenter joined the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network in 2006, the year after the team moved from Montreal to DC. The 72-year-old also worked for the Cardinals, Mets, Twins and Rangers during his career.
