The Nationals lost to the Phillies, clinching a series defeat. Washington surrendered three home runs in a 7-2 loss to Philadelphia. Nationals starter Jake Irvin allowed six runs in six innings and got the loss. Amed Rosario and Nathaniel Lowe each drove in a run for Washington. The teams will play their series finale tonight. First pitch 6:45 pm.
The Big Ten announced its conference men's basketball opponents for the upcoming season. The Terrapins will play home games against Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Washington, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin. Maryland will play Ohio State both at home and on the road.
