Highly-touted prospect Dylan Crews starred as the Washington Nationals beat the New York Yankees 5-2 at Nationals Park. Crews blasted the first home run of his MLB career and added an RBI double. Washington took the series with the victory and has won three of its last four games. The Nats are off today before hosting the Chicago Cubs tomorrow.
The Orioles committed three errors as they fell 6-4 to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The Orioles are 77-and-57, one game back of the New York Yankees for first in the American League East. Baltimore takes on Los Angeles in the series finale tonight.
The Washington Mystics won their third straight game. They beat the Chicago Sky 74-70 at Wintrust Arena. Washington is 9-and-22 on the season. The Mystics play the Connecticut Sun at home on Saturday.
