Week One of the college football season is here. Multiple teams from Maryland and Virginia get their seasons going tomorrow. In FBS action, Maryland hosts UConn, Virginia Tech plays Vanderbilt, Virginia hosts Richmond and Navy hosts Bucknell.
The Commanders have added two players to their practice squad. They signed linebacker Jalen Graham and cornerback Bobby Price. Washington opens its season on September 8th at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Ravens open their season a week from yesterday at the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Washington Mystics are back home tomorrow. They host the Connecticut Sun at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. The Mystics are 9-and-22 on the season but have won three straight games. They are 10th in the WNBA. The Sun are third in the WNBA at 22-and-8.
