The NFL season begins this week. The Ravens face the Kansas City Chiefs on the road on Thursday. Baltimore was 13-and-4 last season, losing to Kansas City in the AFC Championship. The Washington Commanders play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the late afternoon window on Sunday. The Commanders were 4-and-13 last season. 2024 is the first season under new head coach Dan Quinn.
A lawsuit filed by two women against former Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus and the team has been dismissed by a circuit court judge in Florida. The lawsuit accused McManus of sexually assaulting them when they were working as flight attendants on the team's flight to London last year. The lawsuit was dismissed Tuesday because the women filed it anonymously. They have 10 days to re-file the lawsuit using their names. McManus was signed by the Washington Commanders in the offseason but was released after the lawsuit was filed.
