Cade York's time with the Commanders has come to a close. A day after missing two field goal attempts in his team debut, Washington released the 23-year-old. York missed field goals from 56 and 47 yards in the team's 37-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Per multiple reports, the Commanders are going to sign veteran Austin Seibert. The 27-year-old has connected on 45-of-56 field goals in five seasons in the league. Washington hosts the New York Giants on Sunday at Northwest Stadium.
Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson was not at yesterday's practice. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh did not provide details as to why Jackson did not practice. The 27-year-old had 273 yards passing and 122 yards rushing last Thursday in the team's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore hosts the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
