The college hoops season rolls on. On the men's side, UMBC crushed Coppin State 92-67 to improve to 3-and-1. Maryland hosts Marquette tonight, Virginia plays Villanova in Baltimore tonight, Virginia Tech faces Penn State in Baltimore tonight, UMBC hosts Saint Peter's tomorrow, Towson hosts James Madison tomorrow and Georgetown hosts Notre Dame tomorrow. On the women's side, Towson fell 64-63 to Morgan State to fall to 0-and-3. Virginia Tech hosts Coppin State tomorrow, Maryland hosts Towson Sunday, Virginia hosts La Salle Sunday and UMBC hosts Morgan State Sunday.
The Washington Spirit hope to move on to the NWSL championship game. The Spirit host Gotham FC tomorrow at Audi Field in the NWSL semifinals. If they advance, they will face the winner of the Orlando Pride and Kansas City Current semifinal match in Kansas City on November 23rd.
