The Wizards are looking to snap a 14-game losing streak. Washington visits the Cleveland Cavaliers tomorrow night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Wizards come off a 124-114 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Jordan Poole scored a team-high 31 points while Malcolm Brogdon finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds. The Wizards sit at 2-and-16.
College hoops action continues this week. Maryland defeated Alcorn State 96-58 yesterday at the XFINITY Center. Derik Queen had 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists as the Terrapins improved to 7-and-1. Elsewhere, Navy lost to Maine 71-66 in the Cathedral Classic Invitational. The Midshipmen are 3-and-6. In other action, Georgetown hosts UMBC tonight. The Hoyas enter at 6-and-1, while the Retrievers sit at 5-and-4. Towson hosts UMBC on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers are 4-and-5.
