The Wizards are hoping to turn things around. After falling to the Knicks by four points Washington is hosting New York in a rematch tonight at Capital One Arena. The Wizards are still searching for their first win over the Knicks after dropping each of the first two regular season matchups. Washington is last in the Southeast Division at 5-and-24.
The Capitals have dropped two of their last three after falling to the Detroit Red Wings 4-2 at Little Caesars Arena. Alex Ovechkin continued his quest to break the all-time goal scoring record after potting his 17th of the season. Ovi is now 25 goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky's mark. The Caps are second in the Metropolitan Division with 50 points at 24-10-and-2. Washington will look to bounce back when it hosts the Boston Bruins tomorrow afternoon at Capital One Arena.
