Police are investigating after a fight broke out between two groups of people waiting in line for a rollercoaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It happened Sunday night. James City County Police say no charges have been filed and no arrests were made. Busch Gardens medical staff did provide medical assistance to people who were injured in the fight.
All four of the U.S. senators representing Virginia and Maryland are calling on their colleagues to reject the FAA's reauthorization bill. They say the language in the measure would allow for the addition of five new direct flights out of Reagan National. Senators Kaine, Warner, Cardin and Van Hollen issued a statement saying those extra flights would compromise safety at an airport already operating near capacity and lead to even longer flight delays. The current law providing guidance for the FAA expires May 10th.
