The body of a Winchester man missing since December has been found. The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says they have located remains of who is believed to be Jason Diego Abarca. He was last seen running from a parking lot on Berryville Ave in Winchester after a carjacking on December 13, 2023. The body was found in a densely wooded area between Star Tannery and N. Pifer Road in Frederick County. The Virginia Department of Forensic Science is still trying to make a positive ID of the body before making the finding official.
