Arlington National Cemetery is ready for Memorial Day weekend. About a thousand soldiers from the Third U.S. Army Infantry Regiment went to the cemetery Thursday for a tradition known as "Flags In." The members of the Old Guard placed small American flags at graves across the cemetery, taking care to place each flag exactly one boot-length from the headstone. The regiment will return to the cemetery on Tuesday to remove the flags.
