United Airlines will begin three new non-stop flights from Dulles International Airport in May. The airline plans to begin flights to Venice, Italy on May 22nd. Flights to Dakar, Senegal will start on May 23rd. Flights to Nice, France will begin on May 24th. United says it is offering the only non-stop flights to those destinations in the DC area.
A lot of the illegal immigrants caught sneaking across the southern border do not have any identification. A new report, done by the office of inspector general, blasted a decision to allow them be released into the countryPreview: Texas's Congressman Chip Roy says this is why the Republican Party is taking border security so seriously. The report says migrants were trusted to provide their own personal information before being released. Many, it said, were then able to fly on domestic airlines. It calls on the Customs department to do a better risk assessment.
