A Fairfax County man was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday for killing a friend and shooting a stranger in 2022. Authorities say the man fatally shot an 18-year-old after a fight over shoes, then shot another man who refused to give him a ride. Police arrested the suspect shortly after the second shooting. He will be eligible for parole at age 60.
