A Woodbridge man is facing charges after assaulting a minor he met on Snapchat. Prince William County Police arrested 19-year-old Christopher Garcia Moreno this week. He's charged with rape of a victim under the age of 13. The alleged incident happened back in July of 2023 after Garcia Moreno and the victim began a relationship after meeting on the social media app.
The over 15-hundred page spending bill shot down by Republicans Wednesday was in the hands of all lawmakers roughly 19 hours before being asked to vote on it. Elon Musk and others claimed on the social media platform that the bill included funding for 12 more biolabs, a pay increase for congress, 72 pages of pandemic preparedness and response policy, money to build a new stadium in D.C., more money for special interest groups, as well as support for future vaccine and mask mandates and vaccine passports. Congress had announced earlier this week that those crafting the bill had reached a bipartisan deal to fund the government through March.
