A bridge that links DC and Arlington is about to undergo a major renovation. The Theodore Roosevelt Bridge carries about 100-thousand vehicles a day over the Potomac River but needs some major upgrades after more than 60 years of use. A 127-million-dollar project will repair the structure. Lane shifts for the project should begin next week, with construction scheduled to finish in late 2028 or early 2029.
