A man has been charged with second-degree murder following a shooting in Wythe County. Forty-eight-year-old Chad Nelson Hawkes also faces multiple firearms charges following his arrest yesterday in Wytheville. The Wythe County Sheriff's Office says a woman died early yesterday morning following the shooting. No other information has been released.
