Parents are calling for change after a stabbing at a school in Chesterfield County.Preview: The National Park Service has sent workers from the DC area to help with cleanup efforts related to Hurricane Helene. A spokesperson says about a half-dozen workers from the National Mall and the George Washington Memorial Parkway are working to reopen the Blue Ridge Parkway. More than 250 National Park employees from around the country are currently part of that effort. That team was scheduled to return home on October 18th, but some are being sent to Florida to help with the response to Hurricane Milton.
