A sports academy in Powhatan is closing after its owner was arrested for child sex crimes. Joseph Edward Parker was arrested last week on charges involving two children. He owns the Fast Feet Sports Academy on Carter Gallier Boulevard, but parents were told in an email yesterday it'll close, effective tomorrow. Meanwhile, Parker is being held without bond, and he's due in court next month.
