A man who allegedly set fire to trash faces six counts of arson in Roanoke. Officials charged 42 year-old Quinton Gifford with the arson charges in connection with fires in downtown Roanoke over the past month. The charges include arson of vehicles and property valued at less than $1 thousand dollars. Gifford is currently in custody at the Roanoke City Jail with no bond. The Roanoke Fire Marshal's Office is seeking additional information from the public regarding the investigation.
The man accused of orchestrating the 1996 Las Vegas murder of rapper Tupac Shakur allegedly tried to implicate Sean "Diddy" Combs in connection with the shooting. Court documents say the suspect, Duane "Keefe D" Davis, claimed Combs offered to pay for the shooting as part of his feud with Marion "Suge" Knight. Knight was driving the car Shakur was in at the time of the shooting. Davis allegedly made the statement in separate interviews with Las Vegas police and with a documentary crew.
