ATM fees have increased for a fourth consecutive year. According to Bankrate, the average out-of-network ATM fees have hit a record high at four-dollars-seventy-seven-cents. ATM owners continued to raise fees on cardholders from other financial institutions who use their machines. The best way to avoid these fees is to make cash withdrawals exclusively at in-network ATMs, or ask for cash back when using a debit card.
The University of Richmond women's soccer team can celebrate something it hasn't done in over 15 years. UR beat Howard, one-nothing, yesterday to improve to 2-oh-and-one this season. This is the first time since 2008 the Spiders have started a season with two or more wins. Abby Dillon scored her first goal and McKenna Dalfonso made eight saves for her second-straight shutout. Meanwhile, the VCU women's soccer team lost at home to NC State, 5-nothing. The Rams fell to oh-and-three on the season.
