Police credit the public with helping them arrest a suspect in a deadly shooting in Hopewell. Richmond's Dallas Lee Sydnor was arrested Monday for a shooting Sunday that killed 44-year-old Cornell Gholson. Sydnor is charged with second-degree murder. Hopewell Police Deputy Chief Donald Reid tells 12 On Your Side community members were willing to speak to officers and provide them footage. He says that same level of cooperation is needed to solve other shootings.
