A Virginia high school boys basketball coach has been suspended after school officials say the coach used athletes not enrolled at the school. The principal of Thomas Edison High School says Coach Tre' Ford used players not enrolled at the school for a tournament last summer. The principal ad ds there are more transparency and recruiting issues the Fairfax County Public School system is investigating at the moment.
Virginia may soon be getting more electric vehicle charging ports. The commonwealth has secured over $10 million dollars in federal funding to build 392 electric vehicle charging ports in urban and rural tourist destinations. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner have been strong advocates for clean energy resources in the state. This funding is part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and follows a previous announcement of around $16 million for EV charging port installations in 2022.
