Alexandria police are asking for your help in trying to identify the person who gunned down a 23-year-old man over the weekend. Investigators say Carl Harris was killed shortly before 8:00 Saturday night outside the Lloyd Apartments on Manor Road. Detectives began speaking with residents on Sunday and will continue seeking help today. Tips can also be made anonymously by calling the Alexandria PD's tip line.
The average price of a gallon of gas in Virginia has dropped. GasBuddy says it's dropped five-point-five cents per gallon since last week averaging just round 3 dollars a gallon with the cheapest gas in the state around two-63. The national average price of diesel has also dropped in the past week.
