The Virginia Museum of Transportation says an investigation has found allegations of mismanagement at the museum are unfounded. Roanoke law firm Gentry Locke was hired to oversee the museum's finances after six board members resigned at the annual meeting earlier this year. They had raised concerns about how the museum spent state grant money. The former board members say they would still like to see an independent investigation into museum operations.
The city of Virginia Beach says they're on the verge of canceling the Something in the Water Festival again. The city says organizers of the festival have until this Friday to submit contracts for the event. The event had been planned for April 26th and 27th, 2025, but that won't happen if contracts are not submitted by the deadline.
