A body has been found along the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. Chesapeake police say the body was found yesterday afternoon. They say the body was in the water along the shoreline of the park entrance and had gunshot wounds. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
First Lady Jill Biden says she's done teaching at a Virginia community college. Biden made the announcement yesterday saying she had taught her final class at Norther Virginia Community last week. The said working at the college has been the work of her life. Jill Biden taught English and writing at the college for 15 years, but has spent the last 40 teaching students in classrooms. Biden is the first woman to continue working while simultaneously serving as first lady.
