A winter storm is set to bring snow to Central Virginia this week. Snow fall is expected to begin around 8 a.m. Wednesday and continue into Thursday. They say it will bring about 6 to 9 inches of snow from Ashland to Petersburg, as well as from Farmville to the east. Three to six inches is possible in areas of Caroline County and farther west.

Several Black-owned businesses are participating in a special market to celebrate Black History Month. Chesterfield Parks and Recreation and Richmond Night Market are working together to showcase close to 40 vendors from the Richmond area. The event will be held at the Beulah Recreation Center on Saturday, February 22nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Event organizers say the night market will have vendors with various art, clothing, jewelry, and skin care for sale. This is the second year the event is being held.
