Residents across the state of Virginia woke up to snow this morning. More than 10 inches fell across Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Several areas across Virginia also saw four or more inches overnight. Snow is expected to continue falling today, so snow accumulation totals will rise. Temperatures are also staying chilly making for unsafe driving conditions. State officials are still urging people to stay home and off the roads.
Several flights are continuing to be canceled at Norfolk International due to the winter storm. Flights are also being delayed. The airport saw more than 10 inches of snow yesterday. Nearly every flight leaving Norfolk today was impacted. The airport says more delays and cancelations are also expected later today. Snow is expected to keep falling throughout the day across Virginia.
