Two people have been shot and killed at a convenience store in Accomack County. The sheriff's office confirmed a father and daughter were both shot at Shore Stop on Lankford Highway early Thursday morning. They say the two died of their injuries. The owner of the store confirmed the two who were shot were members of his family. A GoFundMe account has been created to help the family. The shooter, 44-year-old George Frazier Devon Wharton has been arrested and charged. He's being held in Accomack County Jail and has been denied bond
A family in Norfolk has filed a police report after someone damaged two flags on their property. Property owner Luke Reed says someone vandalized a Trump flag and an American flag on his lawn. Reed says both flags have been put back up. The vandalism was caught on camera and Norfolk police say they're investigating.
