More than 50 people have been arrested in Virginia Beach over spring break weekend. Authorities say they conducted around 53 arrests at Oceanfront. They also say they confiscated a total of 28 guns. A 14-year-old was arrested by police Friday for possession of narcotics. Virginia Beach police say they filed close to 200 criminal charges as the result of the arrests.
The City of Richmond says increased levels of fluoride were temporarily released into the city's water supply. The city says a pump installation last week caused the increase. They add the city only saw an increase for about five hours. Increased fluoride in drinking water could affect children under nine years old. The city says they're flushing the pressure zones where fluoride was measured above levels of 2.0 milligrams and will be notifying affected customers.
