A man rescued from the ocean in Virginia Beach Oceanfront has died. Virginia Beach police say three people were swept out to sea last week after swimming at night. One was rescued that same night and taken to a local hospital. The bodies of the two other men were found days later. The rescued swimmer, 24-year-old Santos Ajbal, passed away at the hospital. A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses. As of noon, it has raised 42-hundred dollars.
Gas prices are on the rise in Virginia. The average price for a gallon of gas has risen three-point-eight cents per gallon over the last week to an average of three-dollars. GasBuddy reports prices are 20 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and 50 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
