It was a scary moment this morning after Newport News Police say a woman who had been shot jumped on top of school bus. WAVY-TV reports that it happened just after 7:30a.m. when a woman was shot in a home and then ran outside and climbed onto the hood of a school bus. The woman who was shot was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The woman and the alleged shooter reportedly knew each other. There were children on the bus, but they weren't injured. School officials say students were taken to school and there was a support specialist on hand for anyone who needed them.
