Charges are being dropped in a big Portsmouth homicide case. A jury trial was set to begin today for the death of four people at a boarding house on Maple Avenue two-years ago. Antwann Gore originally faced four murder charges. Another suspect was found not guilty earlier this year due to lack of evidence.

Federal investigators concluded that two U.S. Park Police officers who fatally shot Bijan [[bee-jhan]] Ghaisar [[gay-sar]] in 2017 did not violate use-of-force policies in place at the time. Ghaisar was unarmed when he was shot multiple times after fleeing a fender-bender on the George Washington Parkway. Former Federal Prosecutor Glenn Kirschner tells NBC4 it would be unusual to reopen the case.
