Governor Youngkin is establishing a task force to improve youth mental health. The governor issued an executive order yesterday telling multiple state agencies to work together to find ways to combat depression, anxiety and other conditions caused by social media and cell phones. He also established a Reclaiming Childhood Task Force to help sustain that effort. Youngkin said yesterday that the state will work with individuals and organizations to create a tool kit with resources to help improve student mental health and increase academic success.

Turkey is among several Thanksgiving items that will be cheaper this year. A new report shows prices for several Thanksgiving items, including pumpkin pie mix, frozen peas, and sweet potatoes, have dropped since 2023.
